Installation

MonetDB can be used in two flavours: a client-server or an embedded-server setup. The former is typical used in a setting where multiple users access a shared database. The latter is used by programmers to benefit from the full SQL processing power from within a hosting language.

The standard MonetDB Server downloads are grouped by operating system, tapping into their package managers.
