I had asked the same question a while ago on the list, but got no answer. I then asked Martin during a private exchange and he told me he had fixed it. There was indeed a commit about this, but only on default: http://dev.monetdb.org/hg/MonetDB?cmd=changeset;node=7e3d47e35e64 Roberto Ps. I would really like to have it back on Jul 2015 :) Well, to be more precise, the parser still accepts the option, but there is no effect / result. A TRACE-prefixed query runs just as a normal query, producing the actual query result, but no trace (anymore). PLAN & EXPLAIN still appear to work fine as before and as expected. I did not test DEBUG or PREPARE. Thanks! Stefan
Hi,
I might have missed that, but the TRACE option / runtime feature to profile SQL queries (cf., https://www.monetdb.org/Documentation/Manuals/SQLreference/Runtime) appears to be gone in Jul2015.
Bug or feature?
Thanks!
Stefan
