Romulo, Stratos, et al, I think, crackers should stay as a feature also in the release. However, I do agree that compilation is an issue --- (though possibly not totally wrong,) "the disciple learned from the master" is no "excuse" ... ;-) Hence, we should have a very close look at the code and try to reduce/condense the code base if/where possible, and/or break it up into multiple files to speed-up compilation. Given other priorities and obligations, this will most probabaly only happen after upcoming deadlines, and hence after the upcoming release ...
