Stefan,
I am using MonetDB-stable-Fedora.repo.
The exact command i use is:
yum -c /etc/yum.repos.d/MonetDB-Stable-Fedora.repo install MonetDB-SQL-server5
And the exact error message i get is:
Repositoty MonetDB-Stable is listed more than once in the configuration fedora 100%|=====================| 2.1kb 00:00 [1]http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/.DailyBuilds./0_Latest...: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found. Trying Other Mirror. Error cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: MonetDB-Stable. Please verify it's path and try again
Thank you for replying. It's very good of you.
All the links are dead/broken. I already noticed this yesterday. Didn't know the RPMs were dead too.
John, today there are no nightly built RPMs from the latest CVS sources due to technical problems. For now, please fall back to the released RPM using http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Assets/yum/MonetDB-Release-Fedora.repo instead of http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Assets/yum/MonetDB-Stable-Fedora.repo I'll look into the above mentioned technical problems, and let you know once the latest stable nightly built RPMs are available again. Stefan ps: would it be possible for you to (also) use plain text for your emails instead of (only) html? On Thu, Dec 06, 2007 at 02:16:56PM +0000, John Baxter wrote:

Stefan, Great! That is working fine. I have switched to plain text for this e-mail and will remember to do it for any further e-mails in the future. Thank you again for your kind assistance. Kind Regards John Stefan Manegold wrote:

This only holds for nightly built F8-RPMs from the latest "Stable" CVS sources (for the time being, we can only produce 32-bit F8 nightly-built RPMs, anyway). Nightly-built FC6-RPMs from the latest "Stable" CVS sources are available. cf., http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/.DailyBuilds./0_latest... http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Assets/yum/MonetDB-Stable-Fedora.repo For the latest "Current" (development) CVS sources, nightly-ruilt RPMs are available for both FC6 (32- & 64-bit) & F8 (32-bit only). cf., http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Current/.DailyBuilds./0_lates... http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Assets/yum/MonetDB-Current-Fedora.repo Nightly built F7-RPMs have never been (and will most probably never be) available, since we don't have any FC7 machine for nightly testing. For the latest "Release"ed code base, RPMs are available for F7 & F8 both 32- & 64-bit. cf. http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/.DailyBuilds./Release/ http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Assets/yum/MonetDB-Release-Fedora.repo Stefan -- | Dr. Stefan Manegold | mailto:Stefan.Manegold@cwi.nl | | CWI, P.O.Box 94079 | http://www.cwi.nl/~manegold/ | | 1090 GB Amsterdam | Tel.: +31 (20) 592-4212 | | The Netherlands | Fax : +31 (20) 592-4312 |
Stefan, Okay, thank you for the info. I'm glad to hear there is a FC6 implementation available. John Stefan Manegold wrote:
