Hi, SQL92: 6) "X BETWEEN Y AND Z" is equivalent to "X>=Y AND X<=Z". If between is equivalent to the above, why would call it between? I wonder why the order should be Y < Z for it to work. Wouldn't it be much more functional if it took two arbitrary numbers where order doesn't count? Stefan

Noone here says SQL is a good standard, but alas, it's the standard.
