Hi all, Manuel is working on an additional back-end for the Pathfinder compiler that targets SQL:1999. This checkin introduced the respective infrastructure, i.e., skeletons for the files that will do the translation to SQL, along with the necessary data structures. thanks --- actually, I got a bit confused by your recent checkins that did only "fake" changes, and had checkin messages that refered to previous checkins. If you do such things to add missing/lost checkin messages a posteriori, please state clearly that the message actually belongs to the previous checkin, and that the current checkin is merely a "fake". In fact, I strongly discourage such "fake" checkins! In case one forgets a checkin message, or it gets "somehow" lost, one should simply sent a respective mail directly to the monetdb-bugs@lists.sourceforge.net mailing list and re-add the message to the respective revision of the modified file(s) in CVS via cvs admin -m<rev>:<msg> file See "man cvs" for details.

Hi Stefan, sorry about my "fake" checkins, on my first checkin i forgot to set the log so i checked in again with the intention to set a log message. Regarding my problems to compile pathfinder, I spoke with Jens and I only had to update Monetdb and build it again. I dunno what they exactly changed but since my last checkout the bootstrap script failed and also make doesn't ran through. The last time i updated Monetdb was last week.
