ROLE copy_role

Hi all: In the new version of Monet (jun/2016), when normal USER (not "monetdb" user) runs "COPY INTO" or "INSERT", it only works with "SET ROLE copy_role;" before the query. Is that really needed? Should I prepend "SET ROLE copy_role" before every INSERT / COPY INTO query?? Doesn't make sense for me. I supposed the user/permissions configuration is enough for that? Thanks in advance.
