Hi Ken, we do not perform unit testing with each checkin, but we do have a larger regression testing test suite (look for "Tests" directories in the source distribution) that we run every night on a large variety of platforms (cf., http://www.monetdb.org/Developers/NightlyTesting) using our "Mtest.py" test suite program (cf., http://dev.monetdb.org/hg/MonetDB/file/53432a128312/testing/README). Moreover, for each reported bug, we (if possible) add a test to the above mentioned regression testing test suite before closing the bug report, to ensure (1) that bug is indeed fixed and (2) we will be notified by nightly testing in case the same problem should ever re-occur. Hi All,
Are there any unit test for regression test for each checkin/fix? Seems I can not find any test related source check in history.
Yours sincerely, Ken Cheng
