Hi
TESTDATA has 15 columns(3 int,11 varchar, 1 date) and
about 15 million rows.
I'm working with MonetDB Server v5.6.0, based on kernel 1.24.0
(downloaded msi from sourceforge) over Windows XP SP2.
I try to run "select * from TESTDATA;" i only get less than 1000 rows.

Ah. Now I see. I cannot answer your questions right away. Can you tell us how many rows and columns TESTDATA contains? Also, what does `mserver5 --version` return?
