enhancements question

Hi MonetDB Team I am very interested in pushing bug 6702 which is in fact an enhancement (was enhancement request) but seems to be more of a miss these days since all other competing products have it already implemented. What is decision process on prioritizing enhancements and how can a specific request be expedited/elevated? Love this product but can't survive without recursive support in modern analytics world.
