And one more note, sorry. I did notice that the monetdb.org downloads page instructs us to have both the 32-bit and the 64-bit drivers installed on 64-bit Windows. Upon some further reflection, the Stata error message still suggest the error happened within MonetDB's ODBC driver. Anybody else using MonetDB with ODBC on Windows? What shall I check?
