[MonetDB-users] Inner join & nulls performance question

Hi, I want to do a join between tables on a column that contains nulls. What should I expect performance-wise when running SELECT ... FROM... INNER JOIN... ON (a.f1 = b.f1 OR (a.f1 is null AND b.f1 is null)) compared to a normal join: SELECT ... FROM... INNER JOIN...
