Which configuration options did you use to compile it? - what is the size of your cluster? - how many MonetDB instances are you running? - do you run MonetDB in virtual machines or on bare-bone hardware? - how do you run each MonetDB instances: one instance per VM, multiple instance per VM, one instance per hardware server, or multiple instance per hardware server? - are the VMs or hardware servers shared with other users? - how does your MonetDB client connect to the MonetDB server? what’s the speed of the connection? - how much data are you using? - how many remote tables do you have? how much data do you have per remote table? - what is the schema of your table? - what are the queries you have run? what’s their result sizes? - how did you measure the number of “3sec/query”: puur query execution time on the server? or does it include the client-server communication time? is it a one time measurement or average of multiple runs? is it time of cold or hot run(s)?
