Hi, Fabian,
Yes, I am very sure is openssl, cauz i downloaded its source from openssl web and compiled it myself. Aside from compilation, MonetDB should be able to find it, i.e. environment settings are to be looked upon. The log tell you where MonetDB is looking for the missing libraries.
regards, Martin
Thanks, Min

Hi, Fabian,
I came across another failure following your suggestion, checking for SSL_read in -lssl... no configure: error: OpenSSL library not found
I think there is something wrong with my openssl installation. I installed it like below, are you sure it is OpenSSL, and not GNUTLS?
$./config shared $make && make install
Thanks, Min
configure: error: OpenSSL library not found Anyway, we would need your logs to be able to examine what goes wrong in detail.
