within Ubuntu port 50000 only seems to be open on the lo interface, while on the eth0 interface it is closed. Can this be an issue with mserver or is it just my iptables conf that is screwed?
How did you start mserver? I sounds like you need to start it with the option --set mapi_open=true -- Sjoerd Mullender
