It actually restarted automatically.
Basically, I was running 2 copy() jobs in 2 different Unix sessions.
Each file has about 50 million records, and I had over 60 files.
Then the questions becomes, is there a better way to load these csv
files? More efficient and crash proof method?

Have you tried stopping 'demo' and starting it again? It seems not to respond any more to connections.
