MonetDB and Initial Memory requirements of database startup

Hi All, Is there any check in monetdb at startup time which will ascertain that for a dataset of size x mb in hard disk how much minimum free memory should be available in system so that monetdb can run successfully. If so please point me to relevant section. Thanks! Regards, Ashish
