[MonetDB-users] "similar to" text matching syntax

I came across a commit for a "similar to" syntax for text columns -- http://www.mail-archive.com/checkin-list@monetdb.org/msg01289.html Very interested. Are there any updates on this commit -- stable, not stable, not tested? Does MonetDB publish nightly builds?
