[MonetDB-users] simple load?

Sorry to be a bother, but I wonder how hard it is to load a schema or table from ascii text or an .mdb "access" file. I am using the convenient simple console client that is included. Upon searching the list archives, I found some leads which lead me to panic and reflexively consider using Java's Robot class to perform row by row insert operations from the text file. I'm hopeful that there is another way which is both elegant and understandable to a newbie. Thanks in advance.
