Monetdb with R-integrated virtual box connect from windows

Hi, I downloaded the virtual box of monetdb with R-integrated and I am using the windows7 as the host OS. I am trying to connect Squirrel running on windows to the monetdb service running in the virtual box with no luck. I tried the virtual box in Nat and bridged mode and I tried to run the mserver5 with mapi_open=true but the monetdb service is still invisible to the Squirrel client. Any help with the settings will be appreciated, or better if anyone has a version of monetdb with R-integrated compiled for windows as i also need to load text files from windows into the database.
