I have made the list subscribers-only, and I have also set a default Reply-To header which points back to the list. If a non-subscriber tries to mail to the list, the message will be held for moderator approval. When I approve such messages, I usually also allow any future messages from the same non-subscriber to automatically go through. -- Sjoerd Mullender
