Well its tricky to answer. As we use linux as our prime development platform. The limitation of linux is indeed bad, but its less of a problem then the missing 'spares' files on windows. We have not tested the implementation of solaris, bsd(s) including macos on this paticular issue. So even given the exceeding memory problem we (I) still recommand using linux. Niels
