Hi,
I'm interested in using MonetDB in my project and I'm a beginner in this topic, so I'm sorry for the silly questions that I can make. The problem is:
I'm trying to install MonetDB-SQL Server in Fedora 15, but when I execute the command: yum install MonetDB-SQL-server5 MonetDB-client
The output makes reference to a repository that doesn't exist:
http://dev.monetdb.org/downloads/Fedora/15/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found : http://dev.monetdb.org/downloads/Fedora/15/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml Trying other mirror. http://dev.monetdb.org/downloads/Fedora/15/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found : http://dev.monetdb.org/downloads/Fedora/15/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml Trying other mirror. Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: monetdb. Please verify its path and try again
Should I downgrade my operating system to Fedora 14? Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks for your time and help, Best regards,
There are no RPMs yet for Fedora 15. They will come in the next release. Unfortunately, the current release cannot be built on Fedora 15 (there were some minor problems), so I also can't tell you to build your own from the release. You can try to install the Fedora 14 RPMs. -- Sjoerd Mullender
