"Especially when you are exceeding memory, then Linux is not the best operating system. One of the issues is that dirty pages are not properly flushed"

Does the MonetDB team have a recommendation as to which OS would be best for running MonetDB? This is not a trick question, we currently use multiple OS's in our environment and would appreciate any advice. We currently run MonetDB on Linux.
