tested.

As an alternative, you can try to build from the nightly-built source
tarball "MonetDB-template-0.2.1.tar.gz" from
http://monetdb.cwi.nl/testing/projects/monetdb/Stable/.DailyBuilds./0_latest/SourceTarBalls/
This does not require buildtools and bootstrap, but is ready for the
"simple" configure; make; make install ...
