I mention it because I had a segfault (that I sent in another message a few
minutes before this thread) that I experienced after a spontaneous reboot on
an idle database that had no connections. The database appears to be
unrecoverable:

Definitely not. The default (full transaction support) is the mode which we recommand.

I've also noticed when running in this mode that I see a lot of duplicate tables and when attempting to drop a table it doesn't disappear from my table list... what gives?
