We are not aware of problems with the upgrade to Jun2010-SP1 or Jun2010-SP2 from a Feb2010 release. However, we recommend to always make a backup before doing upgrades.
I have data backups. But I would also have to restore the executables and libraries, _and_ revert any changes the Jun2010 install makes (new files, new directories, etc.) The monetdb install 100% respects --prefix, right? So if I archive the --prefix directory with tar, I can roll back executables with no risk? Thanks, m
