How to use MonetDB cluster?

Hi, Recently, I read the MonetDB cluster management document, but I'm not sure which situation will use the MonetDB cluster and how to use it. I guess the cluster will combine with REMOTE table, is that right? But how can I monitor the remote table is online? using `monetdb discover` command? Best regards, Japin
