Folks,
I was able to make the JDBC client connect to MonetDB server after
some editing. This became an issue with the new build. Last week I
didn't have to do anything after MonetDB was installed to make client
connections work. With the new build you will need to do some editing
MAPI_OPEN=TRUE etc to make it work.
In short, client connections work but NOT by default like the old
build. But I am glad that I know how to make it work now.

This wasn't not an issue with earlier MonetDB installed 10 days ago. In fact, I didn't set anything for "mapi_open" and everything worked fine. With the new build this is an issue.
I believe we see this same thing happening in the connection test, where a "connection refused" error is returned.
I hope we can find the cause soon.
