[MonetDB-users] file system usage

Hey folks, I'm wondering if you can tell me how MonetDB manages its on-disk database. During normal operation I was seeing the database hovering at around 55G, after I stopped it to take a backup it was at 70G, but immediately after the restart it dropped down to 35G. 73, Matthew W.
