monetdb5.conf(5) doesn't exist indeed. I'll update the monetdb(1) manpage to drop this reference. mapi_open takes a boolean (true/false). You basically only need it on windows these days. If you call mserver5 you can set it like this: % mserver5 --set mapi_open=true Regards, Fabian Groffen
