[MonetDB-users] Aug2009 - ubuntu/out of memory
Hi, I've installed the Aug2009 release on Ubuntu 64bit and it brings my system to a halt - 'out of memory', every time I try to load file into a table? Previous releases work fine. Dariusz.

Are you using COPY INTO to load the table? Any table, or just specific tables (if so, can you describe them)? -- Sjoerd Mullender
Hi, I'm using COPY INTO and that applies to tables bigger than the amount of memory, which in this case is 48GB. I've noticed that 'dbfarm' grows very, very slowly and that did not happened before, then monetdb grabs all the memory, swap, and then the system dies. I've used your software before, May2009-SP2, same machine, same files and it worked fine, I guess the question is what has changed? It looks like memory leaks... Thanks. Dariusz.
