[MonetDB-users] MonetDB-client 1.40.1 without Python support?
Hi. I've noticed that MonetDB-client 1.40.1 doesn't ship with Python libraries anymore. Yet there is a --with-python configuration option and Python examples. The corresponding changelog page [1] says nothing about the matter. What happened? -- Mark [1] http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Development/Releases/Oct2010/ [2] https://github.com/wmark/ossdl-overlay

Somehow this seems not to have ended up in our release notes, but Python now is a separate package, that's also not listed on our release page. You can find them in our download page though, e.g.: http://dev.monetdb.org/downloads/sources/Oct2010/

I just copied the python source tar ball (now called python-monetdb-1.0.tar.gz) to the directory with sources. I'll also add some text to the on-line release notes. -- Sjoerd Mullender
