Hi, all, I find that in Oct2010 branch (http://dev.monetdb.org/hg/MonetDB/shortlog/Oct2010), it looks like that the database cracking technology has been implemented. But looks like that it wasn't merged into the latest release (Jul2015), right? Why not merge this into the latest release? Is there any plan to merge it in the future?

Hai Kaijiang, We experiment a lot with new ideas/technologies/etc. It’s expected that far from everything ends in a release. Having said that, the work on database cracking is continued in the “holindx” branch. However, since it’s still highly experimental, we can’t say anything about when it’ll be released. Dear Jennie,
Having known that, what kind of index exists in current MonetDB release?
For example, Column imprints published in SIGMOD'13?
Thank you for your help.
Best,
