[MonetDB-users] Perl DBD
Hi all, I install on a ubuntu monetdb , i began to test sql , insert , update and select . very nice performance. But when i try to use Perl DBD to access at the database . nothing work :( the CPAN is not update. the perl DBD in the source have no test no example :( what programming interface work with monetdb ? perl ? perhaps i jump something. python ? While I can't speak to the Perl DBD, the Python db-api has been working
nicely for me.
I actually haven't programmed in Python before, but working with monetdb
using the db-api has given me some practical experience and I've fallen in
love Python.

Somebody have several examples with Python ?
How read tables ?
Management of Big insert ( several 1000000 rows )

PS : on my laptop The copy command is 16x more quicly than Oracle sqlldr
