Possible Loss of data (11.27.9)
Hi, I still have a server running 2017-sp2 (11.27.9) version, we had several reports of tables becoming empty after no activity for a period of one month or more. These tables are loaded from csv using the copy command, and at the time of loading the tables contain the correct data. Querying sys.storage showed that the oid column has a count of 210852 while the others are empty. Digging into the release-notes i only found the following alarming issue: https://github.com/MonetDB/MonetDB/issues/6465 I know that release is not supported anymore and I am planning a migration. Any idea what's the reason behind this behavior, was this reported before? [image: image.png] Thanks. Regards.
Hi That is a really old version and we dont support it. Neither is it useful to spent time on why this happend. too many versions inbetween. regards, Martin
