I do have seen this problem on JDBC, with mclient same query takes 10 secs less. I am not sure why it is happening as from SQL Workbench teh connection should be persistent and it should not connect again on every query. Does anybody have similar experiences with ODBC & PHP ?? I did not experience this problem in former versions of MonetDB.
