There are no official performance benchmarks available. Several projects at CWI use merge/remote tables heavily, e.g. in managing 640B LIDAR points on a dozen of high-end clusters, and development continuous in projects such as http://www.exanest.eu/ For most cases, use of these features is hidden in proprietary products/applications of MonetDB users.
