[MonetDB-users] Multi Query Optimizer/Drill Down Benchmark
Hello monetDB-Users, after installing monetDB( see sourceforge's bug tracker ;), I'm finally going to use it. Is there anyone around how can give me a short feedback on following topics: - Multi Query Optimizer - Drill Down Benchmark described in papers found at http://monetdb.cwi.nl/Development/Research/Articles/index.html Concrete questions are 1. Are Multi-Query Optimizing Approaches implemented in current versions of MonetDB(4 or 5). 2. Is the drill down benchmark still to be found somewhere (google says no), Maybe these questions are way to general, but I have to start somewhere. Thanks, Martin

Concrete questions are
1. Are Multi-Query Optimizing Approaches implemented in current versions of MonetDB(4 or 5). The SIGMOD 09 paper on the recycler describes the MQO technique and the effects on TPCH and Skyserver. The code is included in the release.
2. Is the drill down benchmark still to be found somewhere (google says no), No.
Maybe these questions are way to general, but I have to start somewhere.
Thanks,
Martin
