Hi, the binary builds work with the system they have been built for, i.e., none of Fedora / FreeBSD / Debian works with Cygwin. Given that Cygwin is neither native Windows nor real Unix, we do not support compiling MonetDB in Cygwin --- in fact, given that MonetDB builds on native Windows and we provide Windows installers, we see not need to support Cygwin.
