[Monetdb-developers] Some info
Hi all, want to try monetdb C API. I've read the examples including Mapi.h from mapilib directory. I do not find any mapilib dir. On windows Mapi.h is in the lib dir under monetdb root. On linux Mapi.h is in /usr/include/monetdb. Are the examples updated with the last monetdb distribution? I've read Mapi.h. Mapi type is defined as MapiStruct* but I can't find any definition for MapiStruct in Mapi.h. The same holds for MapiHdl vs MapiStatement*. Am I missing something? Thank you for any answer.

I've updated the example at [1] to match the current code. If you found other locations, please let us know. [1] http://www.monetdb.org/Documentation/Manuals/SQLreference/Programming/MAPI
Hi Fabian,
Thanks,
I've configured my test server on a fedora x86_64 machine and now I'm able
to connect to it using for example DbVisualizer and the monetdb jdbc driver
from the net, also run successfully the C API example code locally.
Best regards.
